I just want to thank the organisers for the UKCMA Music Weekend at Vandyke school last weekend (7/8th) it was so well done. There is so much doom and gloom around in the world at the moment so it was refreshing to come to an event so focussed on encouragement and building us up! So many different musicians from UK and abroad sang and played in a variety of musical styles. One memorable artist was Yazz, famous for her 80s hit 'The only way is up'. Thanks Paul once again for organising another great UKCMA NCM Weekend! We enjoyed being with you and all the marvellous talented singers and music-makers. The Lord was among us. The sessions, while long, were all good but the grand finale concert was the best! Those lovely young men in the Steels; amazing Yazz; and that superb singer Terry Warren from the USA; all made the concert such a blessing. And what can we say about dear George Hamilton IV? What a man! What a gent! What a servant! Delightful all the way.
